A few weeks before the party, acquire a large and empty refrigerator box from a local appliance store. I am sure they will be glad to get rid of extra boxes lying around. Cut out a door and create a roof with poster-board or additional cardboard to Transform it into a doghouse. Most likely there will be printing on the outside of the box. There are two ways you can fix this. You can either cut open, turn the box inside out and tape it together again or you can glue colored or white paper to the outside of the box. I like the second option as the crayons/markers mentioned below will look better on the paper. During the party, provide crayons and markers for the kids to decorate. Then let them play doghouse!
