Supplies needed:
- colored paper
- envelopes and pens
- shoebox or popcorn tin
- the birthday's newspaper clippings
Select a future age for the baby, and ask guests to write a letter to him or her at that age. Pass out paper, envelopes and pens. Use the shoebox or popcorn tin as the time capsule. Collect all letters, as well as the newspaper clippings and photos of the party. Put everything in the time capsule and seal it up, to be opened at a birthday party years in the future.
