Ingredients: 1 c. butter or margarine 1 c. cocoa powder 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. low-fat evaporated milk 1 Tbs. vanilla or 3 Tbs. hot coffee (optional) Your choice of dipping snacks (sliced banana, kiwi slices, pineapple chunks, strawberries, star fruit slices, grapes, pear slices, orange sections, apple slices, marshmallows, or chunks of pound cake and brownies)
Melt butter or margarine. Stir in cocoa powder; mix well. Add sugar and evaporated milk. Cook over low heat until smooth. Remove from heat and add vanilla or hot coffee, if desired.
Divide fondue in heavy cups so each guest has a personal dipping pot. Provide fondue sticks or toothpicks for dipping food. Serve with tray of favorite dipping snacks.
