Ingredients:
- cake mix
- pink frosting (for full cake) and green (for grass skirt)
- black, white and blue decorator gel (1 tube each)
You'll also need 2 round cake pans, a tray or large piece of cardboard covered with foil, and a SpongeBob Luau party plate as a decoration reference.
Bake in 2 pans. When cool, cut 1 round layer into 5 sections (like cutting a pie), making 1 of the 5 sections larger than the others. The larger section will be Patrick's head; the smaller pieces are for Patrick's arms and legs. Place the 2nd round layer in center of tray or on foil-covered cardboard. Trim the curved edges of the 5 sections to fit snugly against the round cake and attach them using pink frosting. Frost entire cake pink. Using black and white decorator gels, draw Patrick's eyes, eyebrows, mouth and belly button. (Refer to party plate.) Use blue decorator gel to create a lei and green frosting to create a grass skirt.
