Ingredients:
- pound cake (homemade or store-bought)
- strawberry jam
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- red or blue food coloring
- decorator gel
Slice pound cake into tiny squares and spread with straw-berry jam. Create pink or blue icing by mixing powdered sugar with 6 tablespoons of water and a few drops of food coloring. Drizzle icing over cake squares; once dry, use colored gel to decorate squares with flowers. (You can also use a simple sheet cake, rather than a pound cake, and cut it into tiny squares; or serve miniature cupcakes, as in the recipe below.)
