About Super Mario Bros.
Super Mario Bros. is a popular childrens video game franchise. Brainchild of designer Shigeru Miyamoto the Mario character has now become Nintendo's mascot. Until Wii Sports arrived in 2009 it was the best selling video game of all time. In the Super Mario game, which is the sequel to the orginal super mario game, Mario's goal is to rescue Princess Peach from the Mushroom Kingdom from the clutches of the evil Koopas king Bowser. Luigi, mario's younger brother, appears as a second player in multiplayer mode.
Super Mario Bros. Characters
Mario: Mario is depicted as short and plump Italian Plumber. He lives in the Mushroom Kingdom. His main enemy is Bowser who kidnaps Princess Peach and wants to take over the Mushroom kingdom. But Bowser has a persistent adversary to deal with. Mario fights Bowser's forces and his evil intentions to save the Princess. Mario's other rivals are Donkey Kong the ape and Wario who is the muscular anti-hero having similar looks as Mario. Mario is depicetd wearing a red shirt, blue overall and a red hat with M written on it.
Luigi: Mario's younger brother Luigi made his debut in the arcade game Mario Bros. He has served as a sidekick in many games to Mario but he has also served as the main protagonist in the Mario is missing and Luigi's Mansion games. Luigi is also a Plumber by profession like his brother. Luigi is depicted in a Blue Overall wearing a green shirt and a green hat with an "L" on the front. He also a little thinner than Mario.
